Course II

Short courses offered in Oxford one Wednesday a month 12pm to 6pm:

 

Transpersonal Skills & Techniques in the
Therapeutic Relationship 

 

The course material is based on an integration of the psychological and transpersonal theories of CG Jung with awareness of Eastern and Western mystery traditions. The aim is to develop upon your knowledge of the transpersonal perspective in the therapeutic relationship by affording you additional skills and techniques to enhance and deepen your work with your clients.

 

Each Session will begin with a short meditation followed by a presentation and demonstration. You will then have the opportunity to work in small groups of 3 or 4 to practice and ground the skills learnt.

• Imaging – spot imaging – deep imagery

• Re-parenting the Inner Child (in contrast to the psycodynamic perspective)

• The Wise Compassionate Observer + Objects work

• Polarities and the Transcendent Function

• Cutting the Ties that Bind

• Inner journeying and the soul perspective

 

COST: £500 for the six long afternoons. (concessions possible)
VENUE: Oxford.

Participants would normally have completed the Oxford Transpersonal psychology course on 'An Introduction to the Transpersonal Perspective on the Therapeutic Relationship' (or an equivalent course such as in psychosynthesis) .
