Course I

A short course offered in Oxford one Wednesday afternoon a month:

 

A Transpersonal Perspective
on the Therapeutic Relationship 

 

The course material is based on an integration of the psychological and transpersonal theories of CG Jung with awareness of Eastern and Western mystery knowledge. The aim is to enable you to feel surer about using and leaning back on your soul/spiritual/transpersonal awareness in your professional interactions.

 

Each Session will begin with a short meditation followed by a series of presentations, inner exercises, pair work, etc. on such themes as:
• Transpersonal psychology models of the psyche
• Space and boundaries - inner and outer
• Transference, counter-transference and projective identification
• Cycles of initiation and alchemy
• Crossing the abyss
• Symptom as symbol
• Psychiatric states
• Stress, exhaustion and arousal - Professional support
• Centering, meditation and grounding exercises

 

COST: £330 for the six sessions (concessions possible)
VENUE: Oxford.
DATES: Wednesdays monthly 2pm to 6pm. Starting on a Wednesday in late October or early November each year
